This website is a purely informational presence. No analytics or tracking services are used, no advertising networks are embedded, and no cookies are set for marketing purposes.

Visiting the site

When the site is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, the date and time of access, the resource requested, and information about the browser and operating system. This processing is required in order to deliver the site and to keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, United States of America. The provider acts as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR under a corresponding data processing agreement. Connection data is retained only for as long as it is needed to operate and secure the site, and is deleted thereafter.

Fonts

The typefaces used are served directly from this website. No connection is made to third-party servers such as Google Fonts, so no data is transferred to third parties in this respect.

Contact form

Details submitted through the contact form — name, company where given, email address and the message itself — are processed in order to handle the enquiry. Technical delivery is provided by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States). The submitted data is transmitted to the provider's servers and cached there for forwarding. The provider acts as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract or its preparation, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR on the basis of the consent given in the form. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Contact by email is possible at any time as an alternative.

Voluntary provision of data

This website can be used without providing personal data. Submitting details through the contact form is voluntary; without them, however, an enquiry cannot be processed. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

Recipients and transfers to third countries

Data is disclosed to third parties only where necessary to operate the site or to handle an enquiry — in particular to Netlify as hosting provider and to Formspree. Where data is transferred to the United States, this takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or another appropriate safeguard under Chapter V GDPR. Despite these measures, access to transferred data by US authorities cannot be entirely ruled out.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient to exercise these rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
